Stronger approaches, more frequent creepy sounds and rare second scares after a quiet ending. The first two observation challenges stay safe.

Level changes start at the next door. All levels keep the same volume control. No gore.

Explore 12 illustrated doors across eight spooky environments, with all 32 original reveals plus new knock, mirror and observation sequences. Some doors stick, groan, rattle or drift shut again. Open one as slowly as you dare, close it if you lose your nerve, then try again. The next reveal might be a quiet room, a strange noise, a dancing skeleton or a face that was waiting for you. A door's creak never gives away its jump scare.

How to play

Look a little closer

Some rooms invite you to count candles, read a number, watch a portrait, check a mirror, count knocks or spot a missing object. Tap an answer or Skip to move on. There is no penalty for a wrong answer, and knock clues also have visible lights. The first two observation challenges are safe. Later, something may interrupt your search in Spooky or Brave.

Peek slowly to see around the door. A sound may come from the wrong side, a reflection may disappear, or the room may answer when you close and reopen it. Quiet does not always mean finished: rare second surprises can happen while you linger. Next door always cancels anything still waiting.

Choose how scary

Use the Scariness slider above the door and tap i to compare the levels. Silly is mostly funny with a few mild startles and no full-screen takeovers. Spooky mixes sudden jump scares with quiet stretches, suspense and room reveals. Brave brings more frequent, sharper surprises. In Spooky and Brave, listen for childlike voices, eerie singing, whispers, growls and footsteps at unpredictable times. Adjust Volume or mute at any time; full-screen impacts stand out from the quieter background. After a full-screen scare, the door finishes automatically and Next door appears one second later. All three stay family-friendly, with no gore.
