Make a spark. Leave a bead.

Welding Simulator is a hands-on 3D welding game. Move a virtual torch over metal, watch the molten pool cool into a raised bead, and inspect its coverage, consistency and simulated strength. All five processes, four activities and three realism levels are available from the start.

How to play

  1. Start with Quick Weld and select First weld for a short hands-on MIG lesson. Hold and drag along the copper seam guide, then release to cool.
  2. Inspect the weld to see its coverage and game-scaled strength. Retry the specimen or choose Next seam for another joint.
  3. In Workshop Jobs, seat the highlighted parts with Place part & clamp, then weld each joint. Orbit the camera to reach side faces.
  4. Use Creative Studio to draw molten-metal artwork, undo strokes, save on this device and export a PNG. Use Simulator Lab presets to compare heat, feed, travel and defects.

Controls and process differences

Drag with the primary pointer button to weld. Right-drag to orbit, use the wheel to zoom, or select Orbit before a one-finger camera gesture. On a keyboard, use arrow keys to position the torch and hold Space to weld. TIG uses F or the Filler button in Standard and Realistic; Stick uses R or New electrode. Let Stick and Flux-Core slag cool before Chip & brush. For Spot, hold still through clamp, pulse and cooling, then release before the next spot.

Casual assists aim and machine setup. Standard introduces manual TIG filler, electrode use and adjustable technique. Realistic tightens tolerances and requires closer control of shielding, heat and holding pressure. Machine settings change actual simulated deposits and defects.

Your workshop, saved your way

Play without an account. Settings, journal achievements and completed-project records stay on this browser; Creative artwork uses this device's browser storage. An optional Random.Express account can sync the workshop records and journal. Artwork remains local. Clearing browser data can remove local saves. PNG export creates an image of your artwork.

Is this real welding training?

No. This is an entertainment simulation with game-scaled temperatures, settings, grades and strength estimates. It does not provide machine settings, qualified procedures, professional training or engineering certification. A virtual load test says nothing about a real weld's safety.

What browser does the game need?

Use a current browser with JavaScript, WebGL 2 and browser storage. Mouse, keyboard and touch controls are available. Performance depends on your device. Reduce particles, motion and arc intensity in Workshop settings if needed. The Helmet option is a cosmetic effect.
