The mice spend meaningful time out of sight. A mouse may show only its head, retreat, emerge slowly, pause halfway across the floor or suddenly scurry to another hole. A second mouse can appear, but the scene avoids keeping every target visible all the time.
Mouse House uses hidden, peeking, creeping, sniffing and scurrying states. Paw input near a visible mouse sends it toward the nearest hole with a faster escape path.
